Job Description
- Be in charge of all Food and Beverage activities as hotel and owner strategies.
- Observe employee-guest interaction and talking with guests, working through the Department Head to coach employees in guest service skills as necessary.
- Ensure that each profit outlet (e.g. Outlet, Bar, Event Service) is operated in line with maximizing profit for the hotel.
- Oversee and implement initiatives and ideas, looking for new and innovative ways to provide heart-touching service.
- Handle the inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment and other assets related to the Food and beverage department.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to prepare an Annual Marketing Plan for Food & Beverage.
- Recruit and select Food and Beverage employees. Follow hotel guidelines when recruiting and use a competency-based approach to selecting employees.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
