Mô tả công việc

We are looking for a talented and experienced General Manager to join our expanding global operations team. We are currently expanding our business operations into Vietnam as our company is growing. We will be opening our first Vietnam office in Hanoi and have plans for further expansion. The Hanoi office will support the Vancouver head office in a variety of different media and software related projects.
Reporting to the CEO and COO, the General Manager keeps the office running smoothly. Whether it’s arranging daily lunches for the team (an Advesa staple!) or onboarding a new team member, our dream General Manager is proactive, friendly, and organized. This person will serve as the leader in our Hanoi office. They will focus on executing on operational plans and customer support for our Hanoi based team. They will work cross-functionally with our Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure our ever-changing product and business practices are reflected and communicated throughout the entire operations team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead a team of talented Customer Support, Operations Associates and Software developers by providing mentorship and guidance in day to day tasks and projects, along with long term career development.
Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures, adapting and creating new policies and procedures as needed.
Responsible for total office maintenance/office appearance/signage, coordination with building management and order office supplies including snacks.
Support the accounting function as needed with bank runs, petty cash, accounts receivable collections.
Create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone present in the space including greeting each person entering the office.
Workplace set up for new employees, access cards, technology supplies, alarm codes and building security features. Act as a resource for employee requests and questions.
Maintain and file records, scanning and copying of documents and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Identify and implement improvements to office functioning, including monitoring of office cost.
Send and respond professionally to e-mails, register employees for conferences, online set-ups.
Providing support for CEO on a variety of tasks that come up, mailing parcels, discreet documents, provide office information.
General administrative tasks as needed.

Yêu cầu công việc

3+ years previous work experience in office management role in a tech related environment
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and Vietnamese is a must
Previous experience in customer service
Strong ability to problem-solve and take initiative
Ability to demonstrate a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to process and role development and improvement
Strong organization and prioritization skills with the aptitude for tracking and efficiently completing multiple tasks with extreme accuracy
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, & Word)
