Category Manager, Health/ Toys-Mom & Baby

Tiki Corporation is looking for a talented Category Manager with customer focus to lead Health/Toys-Mom& Baby Category. You will have responsibility for product selection, supplier management , price management and promotion activities in category. Acting as the ‘business owner’ for suppliers, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business.
You are able to balance your own buying responsibilities with managing and coaching the team. You have significant experience analyzing data, identifying trends in market. Successful candidates also enjoy problem solving and are proficient using Excel and other tools to analyze large data sets.
• Defining the category strategy for products in terms of P&L, assortment growth.
• Driving the category pricing and marketing strategy, running the analysis to understand the impact of category decisions on the sales and profits and refining the strategy.
• Developing existing relationship with Brands/Distributors.
• Supporting the team members and act responsibly for the success of the company.

• Bachelor Degree is required, MBA is preferred.
• Preferably 3 years of proven career track as a Category Manager/Key Account Manager/ Sale Manager, specializing in required category for an established retailer/distributor.
• Proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship management (both internal and external), thorough understanding of the market, and strong relationship with main players.
• Strong analytical acumen and comfort of generating and evaluating various forecasts, metrics, and analyses using advanced Excel and other Microsoft suite.
• Ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions.
