Mô tả công việc

1. Management accounts preparation (40%-45%):
- Produce monthly management accounts ensure accounts reconcile to nominal ledger
- Update the format of the management accounts or other reports where applicable
- Analyze variances and explore potential problems with line managers. Make appropriate recommendations and advices of the impact on the Company
- Undertake Forecast variance analysis at agreed intervals during the year in conjunction with budget holders
- Analyze actual, forecast and plan variances for products
2. Planning and Budgeting (20%-25%):
- Provide training to budget holders to let them understand key financial concepts
- Ensure all budget holders understand the financial information they are sent monthly/quarterly and to answer questions they may have
- Assist Budget holders with preparation of budget templates
- Collate budget holders planning and budgeting information
3. Provide financial information service to management (10%):
- Produce reports for the CFO
- Investigate possible cost saving areas
4. Financial Support (20%-30%):
- Provide all budget holders with up to date information in relation to their budgets
- Under CFO’s direction, produce ad-hoc information on the Company’s Finance to the Executive Group
- Produce accounting reports where applicable in order to improve accuracy of information produced and overall departmental performance
- Working with Branch Accounting team to advise branches on the best use of funds
- Assist with financial training throughout the Company
5. Other Duties:
- Work with all levels in the organization to identify, document and prioritize business needs. Resolve conflicting needs. Participate in the review and evaluation of existing and proposed internal controls over manual and automated operations to comply with LSH requirements
- Work with operational/project teams on new product implementations/changes and assess impact on financial results, Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze business needs and functional requirements to deliver the VSAL needs
- Monitor identified deficiencies and remediation efforts to ensure timely closure of findings
- Provide insight into potential process improvements
- Lead or Participate in the development of controls including analytical tools, reports, and systems to help maintain an effective control environment, in the implementation of VSAL information management strategies as required
- Act as the primary contact to provide client groups with Finance data to assist with informed decision making
- Partner with sales field support personnel; reconciling and resolving differences with performance & incentive payments, Provide assistance with the operating expense process incorporating incentive compensation payments
- May help review or supervise the work of less experienced personnel
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed
- Performs other related responsibilities as assigned to meet the purpose and accountabilities of the role
- Complete special projects feasibilities, sensitivities, and ad hoc requests as assigned
6. Presentation to Board
- Verbally communicate findings to senior management and draft comprehensive and complete report of Analyst area;
- Prepare management reports regarding operations and progress;
- Recommend the related solutions.
- Maintain a transparent, professional and cordial business relationship in any dealings with the Principal

Yêu cầu công việc

BASIC
o BA in Economic field, specialized in Accounting and Auditing, relevant certification is a plus;
o Law University Degree or MBA is preferable.
o Intermediate/advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint
o Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills and abilities using a variety of media: Able to express own opinions and thoughts clearly in writing and verbally
o Bilingual – well developed English and Vietnamese oral and written skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally)
o Well developed and positive interpersonal skills and abilities, Motivated/self-starter looking to make a difference
o Confident, friendly and outgoing personality. Well presented, able to represent the Company capably and professionally at all times
o Ability to support multiple assignments and the VSAL Board, prioritize workload for self, and coordinate with teammates to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment; Demonstrated work prioritization skills; Demonstrated experience in meeting project/work timelines and achieving required outcomes
o Ability to drive change and initiate process improvements, Ability to drive value-added recommendations
o Ability to organize data, perform independent analysis and provide explanations to management
o Attention to detail balanced with knowing the right level necessary to deliver on requirements
o Potential leadership skills and abilities, Proven track record of driving results with minimal direction
o Good to excellent networking skills and abilities, Flexible and can work both independently and in a team environment: Ability to build strong relationships with internal business partners and experience working with multiple business partners in a collaborative and team-oriented manner; Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company

EXPERIENCE
o Understanding of the basic concepts of Retail Dealer operation
o Preferred 3+ years previous work experiences in Finance, Management Accounting
o Minimum 7 years in Accounting
o Developed negotiation skills
o Able to work autonomously and/or within small team environment
OTHER Knowledge/Education
o Able to adapt and interpret different data analytically
o Analytical competence – strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret the VSAL business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements; Proficiency in analytical skills, in data analytics procedures / techniques to understand the implications and complexities of different regulations
o Project management skills - strong focus on delivery of results and management of work
o Quality of judgment – Decisions or recommendations reflect a balance of high professional standards, best practice, and understanding of VSAL business requirements
o Stays up to date in the Business Analysis field and is able to apply innovative methodologies/solutions as appropriate
o Excellent problem solving and systematic thinking skills
o Understanding of ERP system controls, systems knowledge familiarity
